Phil Read is the CEO and co-founder of Read | Thomas, a global BIM/VDC consulting group, and is a proud member of the Chaos Community Ambassador network. With over 30 years of experience in architecture, engineering, and visualization, Phil has helped shape the adoption of technologies like Autodesk Revit and AI-driven workflows across the AEC industry. He has worked with leading firms worldwide and played a key role in training and supporting design teams on landmark projects such as the Freedom Tower in New York.A recognized thought leader, Phil has spoken at Autodesk University, BILT/RTC, and numerous industry events, while also contributing to publications and co-authoring the Mastering Revit book series. He regularly moderates panels, podcasts, and webinars on the future of design and technology, bringing insight into the practical applications of AI in architecture and visualization.When not on stage or traveling, Phil enjoys driving his vintage 1960's TR3A around Charlotte or relaxing at his restored 70s beach cottage on Holden Beach, NC.
